She was predeceased by: her husband William Ernsting; her son Matthew Ernsting; and her brothers, LeRoy Lungwitz and Kenneth Lungwitz. She is survived by: her sons, Guy Ernsting of Ellinwood and Andrew Ernsting (Kristi) of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, Levi Ernsting, Rebeka Watson, Jena Lynn, Drew Ernsting and Jake Ernsting; and her siblings, Lillian Frey, Lorna Hohman and Leon Lungwitz. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Leadachild or Barton County Historical Society in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS.
