She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Ewy and Vivian Thelma Ewy (Salmans); her husband James Sauber; her siblings, Georgia Shuler and Gordon Ewy; and her daughter-in-law Janet Sauber.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Sauber (Diane), Julie Stephens (Greg), Robert Sauber (Christine), Jackie Klapper (Bill), Elaine Martin (Ken), Andrew Sauber (Patty) and Keith Sauber; and her sisters-in-law, Bettie Sauber and Carol Ewy. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Minnis Chapel (113 N Main St, Ellinwood, KS 67526). A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A vigil service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (214 N Main St, Ellinwood, KS 67526). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
