He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Howard and Blanche Howard; his wife Josephine Adella Cowgill (Adella) of Sylvia; his sisters, Twila Yoder (Fred) and Pauline Huffman (Clarence); and his grandson Nathan Daniel Franco.
He is survived by: his children, Michel Jahelka (Rhett) of Little Mountain, SC, Melanie Mosier (Bryan) of Ellinwood, KS, Lindy Howard (Jaime) of Alden, KS and Shane Howard (Crissy) of Denton, TX.. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
