He was predeceased by: his parents, Reta Bowman (Harper) and Eugene Bowman; and his wife Nova Frick. He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Bowman (Janet) of Basehor, KS, Jackie Cook (Bill) of Great Bend, KS, Jill Bowman (Jacob Nicks) of El Dorado, KS and Teresa Long (Rob) of Great Bend, KS.. He is also survived by 35 great grandchildren and a niece and two nephews.
Memorials may be given to the St. John's Lutheran Church or Rivers Edge Archery both of Ellinwood, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
