It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Smith of Elkhart, Kansas, born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Sr. Smith and Olga Eva Smith (Heyman). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Talcott of Elkhart; his children, Sherri Noel (Gregg) of Abilene, Kansas, Michael Long (Kerri) of Phoenix and Barry Smith (Melinda) of Denver, Colorado; and his brother Howard Smith (Janis) of Elkhart, Kansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
