He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy W. and Lola M. Delay (Kerns); his son Lonnie Delay; and his siblings, Wilmer "Dee" Delay, Myrna Johnson and Betty Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Janiese; his children, Lyle Delay (Lea) of Shosoni, Leland Delay of Johnson, Laura Grimes (Dwayne) of Johnson and Lisa Thomas (Matt) of Richfield; and his sister Lorene White of Elkhart. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
