She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Manuel and Mamie Belle Rickerson (Mitchell); and her husbands, George Reed and Herman Janzen. She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Claycamp (Dean), Cathy Ketterman (Don) and Marsha Geyer (Roger); her grandchildren, Amy Ragland (Brad), Dan Claycamp (Carey), Michelle Harris, Tim Ketterman (Keera), Chris Mullennax (Elaine), Sara Lonas (Allen), Matt Geyer (Bridget) and Jennifer Duncan (BJ); her great grandchildren, Alissa, Ashley Ragland, Brett, Maci, Brandon, Hadlee Claycamp, Kaylee Harris, Paige Mullennax, Emma, Kate Lonas, Brody Geyer, Jackson and Benjamin Duncan; her stepchildren, Susan Janzen, Lisa Scott (Mike), Bruce Janzen (Jeannine) and Russell Janzen (Kris); and her siblings, Max Rickerson and Mary Sue McAdam.

Memorial donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Andover United Methodist Church Quilting Group.
