He is survived by: his wife Thelma Wedel; his sister Ruth Andres; his siblings-in-law, Martha Wedel and Edwin; his children, Gary, Karen Wedel and Cynthia Bessent; his grandchildren, Matthew, Tim, Kristyn Wedel, Sydney and Taylor Bessent; and his great grandchild Remington Wedel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to MCC in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
