It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Edwards of El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edwards and Mabel Edwards (Padgett); his son David L. Edwards; and his brothers, Clyde Edwards and Claude Edwards Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Secrest; his children, Catherine James and Glenn Edwards (Tanya); and his grandchildren, Gina Johnston (Randy), Jonathan Seifert, Ariel Maus, Amarah Goodwin and David A. Edwards. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Wendell's name can be made out to Serenity Hospice or the First United Methodist Church of El Dorado.
