With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherrill K Vermillion of El Dorado, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lester and Marie Vermillion (Hennings); his wife Janet Lea (Holmdahl); and his siblings, Darlene and Eugene.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Vermillion and Brian Vermillion (Veronica) of El Dorado, Kansas; his grandchildren, Lakyn Cleaver (Alex), Bray Daniels, Dannika Touchet and Eric Vermillion; his great grandchildren, Liam, Holly and Andrew; his brother Gary Vermillion; his nephews, Kyle Vermillion, Kevin Foster, Jason Vermillion and Shawn Vermillion; his niece Caron Rene Burkin; and his close friend Zena.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
