She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hutchings and Mary Hutchings (Brown); her children, Bradley Palkowitsh and Brenda Mosier; and her grandchildren, Chandria Mosier and Andrew Palkowitsh.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Palkowitsh (Mona) of Haysville and Kolleen Griffin (Tom) of El Dorado; her grandchildren, Clayton Griffin, Lauren Jones (John), Bradley Griffin (Becca), Brendon Griffin and Breanna Hilton (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Corbin, Aubree, Aaron, Caydin, Halen, Westin, Trystan, Rylan and Mycah.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions in Sheila's name may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
