He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Jenkins and Christina Jenkins-Spain (Sade); and his brother Hughey Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jenkins; his children, Ricky Jenkins, Jr. (Jill), Belinda Sperry, Brenna Sperry-Burghardt (Darrell), Louanne Carter (Brad) and LeaNete Porter (Jerry); and his brother Jack Jenkins, Jr. (Connie). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to an organization of the donor's choice.
