With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Elizabeth King (El Dorado, Kansas), born in Pittsburg, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester O. Brown and Reva Brown (Pitts); her husband William R. King, Jr.; and her siblings, Debbie Chapter and Danny Brown.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Steve Stittsworth; her children, Katt Houser, Carla Longacre (Greg), Monica King (Travis Frye), Nichole Cooley (James) and William King (Tammy); and her siblings, Eddy Meeks (Harriett) and Phyliss Doughty (Tommy). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
