She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Overton and Thelma Overton; her husband Elba Gene; her son-in-law Dan Salisbury; and her siblings, Hollis Overton, Thomas Overton and Joy Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Salisbury of Independence Kansas and Richard Galyen of Independence Kansas; and her grandchildren, Sarah Long (Ben), Susan Bryant (David), Vallerie Allerheiligen and Michael Galyen.
