She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Beshirs and Dorothy Beshirs (Elder); her husband Calvin Hicks, Jr.; her son Steven Hicks; her close friend Carol Garriott; and her brothers, Donald, Wayne, Keith and Darwin Allen Beshirs.
She is survived by: her pet Nintendo; her daughter Debbie Nuessen (Rick); her sister Gail Van Arsdale; her grandchildren, Brandon Nuessen (Michelle Rogers), Ryan Nuessen (Jessica), Cassandra Dale (Will), Joshua Hicks (Hannah Owens) and Cece Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Jordy, Kristena of Elaina, EJ, Aareon, Draven, Carma, Aiden, Kolton and Jaiden; her extended family, Coy, Jennifer Gannon, Ed, Brandy Gannon (Brandie), Randy and Dianna Horner (Chelsea); and her close friends, Janice Smith and Shelli Bullock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hickory Hollow Animal Refuge, reflecting Lola's compassion for animals and her commitment to making the world a better place for all creatures.
