The memory of Leta Jean Gauthier (El Dorado, Kansas), who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nerta Rae Lanning (Bennet) and Fred Rosemond Lanning; her brother George Lanning; her husband John Carl Gauthier (Jack) of Michael's Catholic Church; and her children, Carolyn Jean, Robert Nicholas (Bob) and Jacquelyn Rae.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Kathleen (Soapy), Mary Jo Peterson (Steven), Rodney Gauthier (Mary), Greg Gauthier (Robbyn) and Nancy May (Don); and her daughter-in-law Gail Gauthier. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Good Shepherd Hospice.
