We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2023, at the age of 72, Larry Wayne Light of El Dorado, Kansas, born in Winfield, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Light and Bertha Light (Peninger); his brother-in-law Jim Smith of Eureka, KS.; his wife Crystal Downing; his sons, Terry Light (Barbara) of Hawthorne, CA and Patrick Light (Julie) of El Dorado, KS; his grandchildren, Daniela, Michael, Alia and Emjay; and his sisters, Barbara Smith of Eureka, KS and Marilyn Long (Tom) of Independence, KS. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home. Donations to the Shriners Children's Hospital can also be made online at their website https://donate.lovetotherescue.org.
