It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Ann Fry of El Dorado, Kansas, born in Herington, Kansas, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eunice Hager and Richard Hager; her husband Jim of El Dorado; her daughter Jamie Wiley (Stephanie Wiley); her granddaughter Wren Wiley of Kansas City, MO; and her sister Gay Lynn Hager (Joy Switzer) of Raymore, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that those that are able instead make a donation to the Bradford Memorial Library or to the Humane Society.

“In loving memory of Jean Ann Fry, Someone so special will not be forgotten. I am wearing a bracelet right now that I have treasured for decades. She gave it to me and that made it very special. She and I spent years in education and at one time we had classrooms across the hall from each other. She, K Kinder, and I would go to lunch almost every school day when none of us had lunch duty. The three of us were very close friends. I can't believe she is gone. She will never be forgotten! RL”
