We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2022, at the age of 93, Herman Gilbert of El Dorado, Kansas, born in El Reno, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilbert and Mary Gilbert (Matchett); his wife Betty Gilbert; and his siblings, James, Melvin Gilbert, Mildred Forbes and Lillian Greenway.
He is survived by: his niece Michelle Steele of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his nephews, Chris Gilbert of Lee's Summit, Norman Gilbert of Lake St, Mark Shaft of Kansas City and Steve Shaft of Prairie Village, Kansas; his great-nephew Ryan Steele (Kristel); his friends, Sue Ice, David and Lori Yoder; his close friend Frank Adame; and also, Savannah and Sawyer Steele. He is also survived by family; and many other dear friends.
