She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Riffel and Wanda Riffel (Hamm); her brothers, Burton Riffel, Alfred Riffel, Eldred Riffel and Keith Riffel; and her grandson Aaron Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Brooks (Janice), Michael Brooks (Sandy) and Lisa Bird (Rick); her sister Dorothy Boettcher (Charles); and her grandchildren, Rebecca Brooks, Ashley Brooks, Renee Burris, Justin Brooks and Mackenzie Cantwell Dolores.

Memorial donations in her name may be directed towards the Kansas Humane Society.
