He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sander and Eugenie Sander (Schorn); his wife Shirley A. Welty; his granddaughter Emily Sander; his daughter Julie Bruno; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Sander.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Blaine (Brent) of Keller, TX and Russ Sander of Magnolia, TX; his grandchildren, Kelly Pruitt (Eric), Jesse Blaine, Jarod Sander (Rachel), Jacob Sander (Amanda), Stephanie Sander, Christian Sander, Trevor Bruno, Trent Bruno and Travis Bruno; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Charlotte, Samuel, Jasper and Owen.
Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the VFW Post 1174 or to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
