With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chet McCoy in El Dorado, Kansas, born in Iola, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. McCoy and Tressa McCoy (Kramer); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Marguerite Banks, Leonard McCoy, Larry McCoy, Herschel McCoy and Paul McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Dana McCoy (Darcy) of El Dorado, Lesli Soles (Mark) of Wichita and Jon McCoy (Susan) of Towanda; his grandchildren, Danielle Small (David), Daric McCoy, Ciera Whitson (Jordon), Kylie Soles, Katelyn Soles, Jennifer Dutton (Jacob), Janelle Iacono (Mike), Michelle Gang (Spencer), Jamie McCoy and Dustin Gurney (Samantha); and his siblings, Emmy Kimberlin, Dave McCoy and Linda Call.
