He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmond V. McCoy, Sr. and Ruth (Denton); his wife Claudia; his sister Dixie Miller; his granddaughter Sarah; his daughter-in-law Regina McCoy (Sheeley); and his brothers-in-law, Don Evans and Billy Miller. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews.
