He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Turner and Helen Turner (Baker); and his daughter Stephanie Thomas. He is survived by: his son William Turner of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Sierra and Braden Thomas; his siblings, Bud Turner (Janet) of Eureka and Claudine Karczewski (Jerry) of Sodus Point, NY; and his close friend Cynthia George.
