He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Ryser I and Della (Iles); his stepfather John Lucius (Bud); and his brothers, Richard and Zane.
He is survived by: his brother Jack Ryser (Kathy) of Lancaster, KS; his nieces and nephews, Krystalyn Iles-Lucius of Effingham, KS, Elizabeth Iles-Lucius of Atchison, KS, Eric Ryser (Julie) of Lake Elbow, KS, Amy Ryser of Wheat Ridge, CO and Melissa Delzeit (Jim) of Troy, KS; his great-nieces, Ella, Ada McGregor, Aneliza and Aaliyah Griffin; and his great-nephew Aaron James Lindstrom.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Jim's name to the Atchison County Fair Board and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
