He was predeceased by: his parents, George Modrell and DeMaris Modrell. He is survived by: his wife Kim Modrell; his daughters, Nicole Johnson of Kansas City, MO., Gwendalyn Peters (Shawn Okon) of Terre Haute, IN. and Heather Peters of Platte City, MO.; his grandsons, Christian Jones, Elijah Okon, Charles Okon and Bryson Okon; and his siblings, James Melvin (Paula) of Mound City, KS., Sheila Kelley of Raytown, MO. and Howard Modrell of Georgia.
