It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Peters of Edwardsville, Kansas, born in Bonner Springs, Kansas, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Peters and Beryle Peters (Matson); and his wife Norma "Jean" Peters. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Freeman (Ed) of Bronson, KS, John W. Peters, Jr. of Edwardsville, KS and Jill Denise Peters of Bonner Springs; his foster son Mark Brauninger (Joan) of Kansas City, MO.; and his grandchildren, Trent, Kristene, John K. Melissa, Derrick, Jarod, Chelsee and Jillian. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren As well as several extended family and many friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Abdallah Shriners Children's Transportation Fund in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
