He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Ussery and Leona Ussery (Gabel); his daughter Marsha Kay Ussery; his former wives, Evelyene Ussery (Webb) and Mary Ussery (Williams); and his brothers, Orville, John and Richard Ussery.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Ussery (Phipps); his children, Charles Ussery (Sheri), Margaret Cobbler of Eudora, KS and Carol Vesco of Lawrence, KS; and his sister Mary Webb of Stockton, MO. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillview Church of God (701 N 78th St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Tonganoxie Historical Society.
