It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Wright of Edna, Kansas, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother David (JoEtta). He is survived by: his daughter Samantha (Richard); his brother Ed (Cathy); and also Connie (Mark). He is also survived by his children, their spouses, their children.

The family suggests memorial contributions to be made payable to any of the Edna civic groups, BEARS, ECO, and Crosstimbers Food Bank and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337.

“We will miss Fred greatly. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He loved us as we loved him. We will miss our backyard visits, swinging on the swing, knocks at the door, calls summoning that decaf coffee was on and ready. He was very thoughtful toward us as we tried to be of him. We will also miss the almost daily phone calls checking up on each other's welfare or asking for advice. He was a close friend and is loved and thought of daily.”
