With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marty Powell of Edgerton, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. McNevin and Virginia M. McNevin (Heselton); and her husband Keith DeWayne Powell. She is survived by: her sons, Kirk DeWayne Powell (Akemi) and Kit Douglas Powell (Debbie); and her brother Charles McNevin (Leah Kay). She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Gardner Cemetery.
