She was predeceased by: her parent Gayle Peters; and her brother Lee Peters. She is survived by: her husband Claude Steed of Edgerton; her brother Lynn Peters (Paula) of Overland Park; her children, Paul (Debbie) of Cherryvale, Dan (Ann) of Gardner and Mandy Sheldon (Jon) of Edgerton; her grandchildren, Garrett, Zack, Sarah, Madie and Emma; and also Mary Peters.

Memorial contributions to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter or the Gardner Historical Museum would be greatly appreciated.
