She was predeceased by: her parents, William Liestman and Edna Liestman (Haas); her husband Samuel Lee Hastings; her daughter Teresa Jones; and her siblings, William Liestman, Mary Lou Oliver, Betty Jo Timmons and Audrey Rudenbush-Culbertson.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Hastings (Denise), Phillip Hastings, Sharon Couch (J. R. Robinson), Monty Hastings (Angie) and Michelle Hastings. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
