Elmer Karczewski Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Karczewski of Easton, Kansas, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sygmond Karczewski and Helen Karczewski (Fishman); his former spouse Shirley Poisl; his wife Helen Noll Miller; his sons, James and Daniel; and his brothers, Edmond, Eugene and Walter.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Karczewski (Claudine), N. Y., Sandra Gonzales, Phoenix, Cheryl Rathbun Ellsworth (Cory), Kan, Gloria McKeever Topeka (Jeff), Daryl Karczewski (Sharon) and N. C.; his daughter-in-law Kathleen; his siblings, Arthur Karczewski and Ernestine Iannello of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; and his stepchildren, Larry Miller, Peter Miller, Thomas Miller, Mark Miller, Ruth Miller, Audrey Miller, Mary Miller, June Gerety and Keith Miller. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph of the Valley Church or Leavenworth VA Medical Center.
