He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence M. Kroll and Frances Kroll (Holtgraver). He is survived by: his wife Carol Kroll (Wood); and his children, Jeff (Lisa) of Pierre, S. D., Stephen (Jennifer) of Easton, Kan. and Kelly Funk (Jamie) of Atchison, Kan.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Memorials are suggested to Saint Joseph of the Valley Church or Christ's Peace House of Prayer.
