We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 54, Charlene Hurt of Easton, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Hurt Sr. and Victoria Odessa James; and her brother Dennis Dean James. She is survived by: her siblings, Orville Hurt Jr. of Topeka, Kansas, David Thompson of Topeka, Kansas, Hattie McNeal and Shirley Thompson of Lawrence.

Our family is currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Charlene's funeral.
