He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Henry Cooper, Violet "Sis" McCabe, Virgil Cooper, Alice DeWitt, Clara Mae McConkey, Roseanna Nass, George Edward Cooper and Donald Lee Cooper; his former spouse Jewell Merriam Britt; his son Bradley Brett; his wife Mary Jane O'Banion Moore; his children, Brad Cooper (Sonia) of Inman, Richard Cooper (Andrea) of Baxter Springs and Pam Switzer (Scott) of Dwight, Kansas; his grandchildren, Matthew Wiebe, Adam Wiebe (Andrea), Emily Spittles (Dustin), Crystal Lamb (Keith), Holly Cooper, Sky Cooper, Lane Cooper, Kyla Kane and Kristy Tanner (Brad); and also, Mary Virginia and Richard Jackson.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Don to the College Avenue United Methodist Church in Manhattan.
