He is survived by: his wife Thelma Koops of Downs; his children, Berend Koops (Samantha), Claire Clifford (Andrew), Steffen Koops (Brenna), Adrienne Allison (Levi), Alexis Koops and Drake Koops; his grandchildren, Talon, Raylan, Henri, Nora, Lou Ann, Harrison and Beverly; his sister Stephanie Draayer (Dave) of Downs; his nephew Renzo; and his niece Alida.
