James Long Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Long of Downs, Kansas, born in Norton, Kansas, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Sam" Long and Alvera Juenemann Long. He is survived by: his wife Denise Charbonneau; his son Anthony (Brooke) of Downs; his grandchildren, Vannon, Cullen and Lindy; and his siblings, Diana McConnell of Oregon, Ed (Lisa) of Beloit, Arlene Alley of Delphos, Steve (Beverly) of Osborne and John (Jennifer) of Oregon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jim Long Memorial (to be used for his grandchildren's education).
