It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris A. Denton of Downs, Kansas, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris A. Denton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Phillips and Cleo Phillips; her sister Lois McVey; her brother-in-law Darlow Lampe; her mother-in-law Wilma Getrude Denton (Gertie); her daughter Donna Schlereth; and her granddaughter Janelle Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Denton (Holly), Debbie Allen (Phil), Deanna Sherrill (Kevin) and Danetta Gochanour (Joel); and her sisters, Patty Lampe and Nita Davidson (Max). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great, grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairmount Cemetery (20540 SW 218 Rd, Jetmore, KS 67854).
