It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Belle Schmidt of Douglass, Kansas, born in Leon, Kansas, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simmons and Carrie Simmons (Wagoner); her husband Robert Schmidt; and her daughter Terry Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Becky Jenkinson of Douglass, Brenda Shaw of Rosehill and Eric (Catherine Schmidt) of Leon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
In leu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made out to Augusta United Methodist Church, left in care of Dunsford Funeral Home.
