It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene O. Harris of Douglass, Kansas, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Arlene may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Harris and Thelma Harris; her brother Kirk Harris; and her husband Robert Harris. She is survived by : her sister Arnette Harris of Kiowa, KS; and her daughters, Becky Dickman (Richard) of Colby, KS, Maria Foerschler (Kevin) of Junction City, KS, Janice Spencer (Jerry) of Douglass, KS, Kendra Hill of Douglass, KS and Carol Bergley (Dwight) of Douglass, KS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery (1208 N College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
