He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bethold Hirt and Evelyn Hirt; his former wife Donna Dlabal; his wife Doni; his children, Jane Hirt (Michael Lenzi) of Chicago, Susan Hirt (Brian) of Chesterfield and Mitch Hirt (Lori) of Lincoln; his grandsons, Nathan and Evan; and his sister Rosa Lee Whitmer (Richard) of Wilson, Kan.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
