She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Walker and Ruby Marie Smith (Moore); her husband Howard Schlereth; her sons-in-law, Chris Enlow and Steen Reichmann; and her granddaughter Dawn Reneé Mahieu.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Mahieu (Kathy), Brenda Reimer (James), Janet Enlow and Margie Delzeit (Brian); her brother James Foster Smith (Janice); and her grandchildren, Rebel Mahieu, Brett Mahieu, Wes Mahieu, Shawna Stefonek (Terry), Aaron Wade, Ethan Reichmann (Miranda), Kaitlyn Deskins (Robert), Madison Reichmann, Kristie Anderson (Jason), Kody Enlow-Grant (Adam), Kacey Stegman (Adam), Kelli Smith (Jan), Nichole Byer (Jason) and Kaelee Davenport (Adam). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Prairie, SWKS K-9 Pawsibilities or Manor of the Plains, all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
