He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin L. Elliot and Leona M. Elliot (Wondra). He is survived by: his wife Cherie; his children, Robert J. Elliot (Wichita), Joshua C. Elliot (Lawrence), Jade Elliot Schaffer (Patrick), Taya Elliot (Dan Ovesea) and Terri Trent (Kerry); his grandchildren, Aidan, Aaron Trent, Mason and Bryar Schaffer; and his siblings, Sharyl Johnson (David), Diane Law (Danny) and Robert A. Elliot (Wichita).
The family suggests memorial contributions to honor Ron's passion for helping children in need. Donations may be made to the Kansas Food Bank, Meadowlark House, or St. Cornelius Youth Group, in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th., Dodge City, KS 67801.
