She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Shaffer and Mabel Shaffer (Medley); her husband Don Smith; her pet Prancer; her daughter Annie Fry; her granddaughter Rose Marie Smith; and her great grandchild Tyson Allen Hambleton.
She is survived by: her pet Midnight; her children, Dan Gross (Karen) of Schererville, Indiana, Terry Gross of Miami, Oklahoma, Steve Gross of Spearville, Debbie Smith (Allen) of Bloom, Vivian Esplund of Dodge City, Liz Demuth (Joe) of Dodge City and Dale Smith (Melba) of Guymon, Oklahoma.; her brothers, Dee Shaffer of Modesto and Roger Shaffer of Atlanta, Georgia.; and her close friend Lois Agee. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 36 great great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Bible Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
