Monica Halling Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Halling (Dodge City, Kansas), who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Gibbons and Betty Lou Gibbons (Hodges). She is survived by: her husband Mike Shean; her children, Jessica Halling (Chandra Rivera), Teresa Shean and Christopher Mefford (Lee); her siblings, Mary Ubel (David) and Jamie Gibbons; and her grandchildren, Alex, Aiden, Abrehn Law, Jason, Jenesis and RaeLynn Rivera.
She went on to work at IHOP where she made many wonderful friends, Wards until the pandemic, and then at the Tyson plant until she was no longer able to work in 2022.
The family suggests memorials to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
