It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gurnee (Dodge City, Kansas), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Keene Gurnee and Martha Gurnee (Staples); his wife Mary Anne; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Sarah (Jeff); and his parents-in-law, Thomas and Mary Lou Halpin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Ford County Humane Society, High Plains Public Radio, or the Kentucky Historical Society all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
