Maria C. Hernandez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 60, Maria C. Hernandez of Dodge City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Valencia and Alejandriana Salazar; and her grandchildren, Italia Maria Alarcon and Braxton Hernandez. She is survived by: her husband Saul Hernandez; her children, Saul Hernandez (Jeanette), Paola Alarcon (Brian), Luis Hernandez and Erik Hernandez (Tiandra); and her grandchildren, Davin, Brian Jr., Isabelle, Amaya, Elias, Pablo, Arjen, Saul III, Zayden, Cass, Thiago and Illiana.

Since Maria had a passion for helping students make furthering education a dream come true, the family suggests memorials to the Maria Hernandez Diversity Scholarship in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
