He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barney, Jola Kraus, Darel and Thelma Traugott. He is survived by: his parents, Mary Traugott of Garden City and David Traugott; his spouse Catie Beardshear; his stepmother Gail Traugott of Colorado Springs; his daughter Ambrielle Traugott of Dodge City; the parent of his child Catie; his sisters, Alison Bottom of California and Sara; and his brother-in-law Mark McClure of Garden City.
