She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Tweedy and Neva L. Tweedy (Hillman); her spouse W. H. "Bill" Burris; her son John Gilbert Burris; her siblings, Raymond Tweedy, Darrel Tweedy, Neva Bozarth and Linda Tweedy; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Burris.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Poston (Chris), Sondra Bradfield, Nancy Burris of Ardmore, OK, Bruce Burris (Linda) and Douglas Burris; and her grandchildren, Naomi Wyllia, John Wyllia, Andrew Wyllia, Kelli Wyllia, Daniel Dixon, Mary Ann Osko (Zack), Shiloh Burris (Michele), Jacob Burris, Rylee Burris, Brian Burgoon of Kansas and Savannah Burgoon. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel - Dodge City (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (803 Central Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Dodge City in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
